Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, has assured people of Kebbi state of his readiness to continue providing humanitarian services to all nooks and crannies of the state.

Malami gave the assurance during a political gathering of his associates, and an interactive session with 682 registered organisations in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.

He said,” I am happy and excited for the cooperation and understanding the associations have been given to me for a very long time and I urge you to extend same support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.

“I assure you of my readiness to continue providing humanitarian services to every nook and cranny of the state.”

Malami, who is the founder of Khadimiyya Foundation, enumerated some of the achievements recorded under his foundation.

“The foundation, so far, has constructed more than 300 motorized boreholes, facilitated credit facility to more than 6,000 entrepreneurs, skills acquisition programmes, agricultural intervention, Covid -19 loan facility and provided employment opportunities to teeming youths in the state, amongst others,” he said.

Malami commended the APC – led administration of President Muhammad Buhari for initiating and implementing a number of people oriented programmes.

He also thanked Gov. Atiku Bagudu for his relentless efforts in making lives better for people of the state.

The minister also called on the groups and associations to embark on aggressive enlightenment campaign on the needs for the prospective voters to obtain their permanent voters card.

In his remarks, Bagudu described Malami as a worthy ambassador who represents the state at the Federal Executive Council with exceptional pedigree and contributed immensely in the nation building.

He thanked Malami for his humanitarian activities, especially his intervention in AGSMIES, covid- 19 credit facility, construction of boreholes, health care services and support as well as job creation, amongst others.

Bagudu further commended the minister for his patriotism, stressing that Malami always considered nation building above his personal interest.

He prayed almighty Allah to elevate Malami to a higher position soonest.

Also speaking, the Khadimiyya Board of Trusties’ Chairman, Abubakar Usman- Gotomo, described Malami as a good son of the soil who always had interest of the people at heart.

“These unique qualities are what gave birth to the Khadimiyya and Kadi Malami Foundations to solely provide educational support, social amenities, job opportunities, portable drinking, among others to the people of the state and beyond.

He said Khadimiyya and Kadi foundation would not relent in providing such services, especially to the downtrodden.

Usman-Gotomo also assured the associations that their political interests would be protected under the APC-led administration.
