Albasun Liman Village in Sabuwa Local Government area of Katsina State has been invaded by suspected bandits who reportedly kidnapped nine persons.

It was gathered that among those kidnapped include an SS2 student of Government Secondary School, Damari, identified as Umar Mu’awiya, alongside his father.

Residents of the area disclosed that the attack took place at about 12:30 am of Thursday December 31, 2020.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Katsina State Command, Gambo Isa, when contacted mentioned that the incident would be investigated.
