Two cult groups, Ayes and Baggars, Caliphate Post learnt, went for each other’s jugular which led to the death of a member of Baggars confraternity, Wednesday night, while another member of Ayes is still missing as at the time of this report .

The incident, according to eyewitnesses occurred at the Bunker area, Old UNTH Enugu, Wednesday night while most residents were relaxing in their houses .
“We were relaxing when news filtered in that some one has just been killed at ‘F-Line’ and hell was let loose as people run in all directions for their lives “, one of the witnesses told Caliphate Post.
The person killed was identified as a member of Baggars cult and “his killers were masked; the incident was as a result of the cold war between the two rival cults that has been on for some time”, the source added.
After the attack, a member of Ayes group popularly identified as Chibuzo who hailed from Nsukka area and a mastermind of the attack was tailed to his girlfriend’s house in the middle of the night.
“His girlfriend jumped the fence and escaped but he is still missing but his blood was everywhere around the compound “, the witnessed narrated .
A member of “Okuyi Almagated Neighborhood Watch” disclosed that the clash was as a result of protracted clashes between the cult groups, which has been on since early July”.
Meanwhile, Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has summoned an emergency security meeting of all security agencies in the State to brief him on the civil disturbances and breach of peace in Emene , Enugu State on Sunday.
The meeting is billed for September 1st at the Lion building, Government House Enugu.
