Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State, kidnapping hundreds of schoolgirls.
The attack is coming barely a week after the abduction of dozens of schoolboys in Kagara, Niger State.
The detail of the attack is sketchy as at the time this report was filed.
Sources told BBC Hausa on Friday morning that over 300 schoolgirls were abducted in the latest mass school abduction in Zamfara.
