In the early hours of today, Monday, Bandits has kidnapped the Niger state Commisioner for Information, Mohammed Sani Idris.

The State Government which confirmed the incident via a statement through Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje said the Commissioner was said to have been kidnaped at about one o’clock in the early hours of today from his home at Baban Tunga village in Tafa local government of the State.

“Security agencies are however already on the trail of the bandits to hoping to apprehend them”, the statement added.
