Ex special adviser to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak has been shot dead by some yet to be identified gunmen.

Daily Star Correspondent gathered that  Gulak was killed by unknown gunmen on his way to Abuja from Owerri the Imo State capital.

Gulak’s daughter, made the disclosure via her tweeter handle @Muneerahaag: “I just lost my dad please put him in your Dua.

Gulak once declared himself as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the party’s leadership crisis in January 2016.

He was chairman of the APC committee that conducted the primaries for Imo governorship election.
