Gunmen have kidnapped some JSS 3 students of Prince Academy, Damba-Kasaye, in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna state.

Pulse reported that the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, August 24, 2020 just as the students were preparing for their Basic Education Certificate Examination.

Members of the community made a failed attempt to rescue the students. One person was also reportedly killed as a result of the attempt.

The number and identities of the victims is still being awaited from the Kaduna state police command.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna state police command has not issued any statement yet about the incident.
