Kaduna State Police Command has announced that it had arrested organisers of the maiden edition of the Kaduna sex party.

The sex party, which received high social media publicity, was slated for December 27, 2020 at an undisclosed venue in the state capital, was aborted.

It was gathered that some of the requirements for participating in the invitation obtained by journalists was that male and female attendees must be naked as no clothes would be allowed at the venue.

The party was expected to last till dawn during which participants would have sex for fees ranging from N2,000 for the popular side to N3,000 and N5,000 for the VIP section.

The Kaduna state government swiftly moved to abort the party and directed the police to arrest those behind it.

The Special Assistant to Governor Nasir El-Rufai on the Media, Abdullah Yunus, disclosed that the police had made some arrests.

He said the police acted promptly to an advertisement placed on social media platforms.

“When we got to know of this development, the government was disturbed and the governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, informed the police,” Yunus stated.

Confirming the development on Wednesday, the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said police operatives were able to trace the venue and made some arrests.

‌He, however, declined to give other details as to the number and identities of those picked up.

The police spokesman said the command investigation to unravel those behind the sex party had began, adding: “we are investigating those behind the sex party and will soon give details of our findings.”
