The Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle is set to decamp to the ruling All Progressives Congress on Tuesday, says the Chairman, Caretaker/ Extraordinary Convention Planning Commitee, Mai Mala Buni.

Buni who is also the Governor of Yobe state disclosed this in a letter of invitation to the occasion, obatained by Daily Star, of the Governor’s defection on Tuesday at the Zamfara State Government House Gusau by 2:00pm.

The letter reads: “I have the pleasure on behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Commitee (GECPC) and the APC family nationwide, to write and to invite you to the occasion of joining into our great party, the APC, the Executive Governor, Zamfara State, H.E Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) along with his teeming supporters”.

The rumour of the Governor started circulating on social media since last week before yesterday’s official confirmation by the APC.
