Bello Galadanci, a popular Northern skit maker also known as Dan Bello, caused a stir on Monday with shocking claims that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s family owns the giant oil company Oando and recently acquired Agip Oil Company, which holds 17 oil wells in Nigeria and extracts 11 million barrels of crude annually.

In a skit titled “Why is Fuel Price High in Nigeria,” Bello further alleged that the Tinubu family now owns the largest oil company in Malta, Enemed, through Ras Hanzir Company, which is led by Wale Tinubu and Adewale Tinubu Junior.

Bello claimed that in 2021, Enemed leased its oil blending and storage facilities to Ras Hanzir before the latter gained full ownership.

He concluded by asserting that only Tinubu and his family can bring more dollars into the country, thus lowering the current high exchange rate.

Dan Bello hails from the Galadanci area of Kano State, Northern Nigeria. He was born in Pennsylvania, USA, holds a Doctorate degree from China, and is currently working in China.
